A consideration of the communication function between parent and children in sandplay therapy

Abstract
Many researches is realized to consider that problem behavior can appear in adolescence or manhood if that problem behavior of children was not intervened appropriately. Parent-children relationship among the most basic relations in society may yield important influence on problem behavior of children. The children can receive many meanings from their parent through the communication, and they can estimate themselves and decide their behavior patterns due to the communication. So the problem behavior of children relate to patterns of communication in parent-children relationship. Therefore, to solve an early stage and prevent of problem behavior of children, it is necessary to develop concrete strategy and program to facilitate parent-children communication. This study consider the relations between problem behavior of children and parent-children communication, a existing researches precedent to promote parent-children relationship and communications, the function of parent-children communication in sandtray playtherapy, finally an enforcement step in sandtray playtherapy to facilitate parent-children communication.
